In this iconic eau de parfum by
Diptyque, tuberose is revealed at dusk.
Yves Coueslant, one of the founders of the house, discovered the scent of tuberoses as a child. He used to spend his summers in Vietnam in the village of
Do Son. Settled in the pagodon his father had built, he could smell the sweetly spicy scent of tuberose carried on the sea breeze. This flower, so loved by his mother, was placed in the temples as an offering. Accompanied by jasmine and ylang-ylang, it was then wrapped in canna leaves. Such is the story of
Do Son perfume, a single drop of which revives memories and awakens the imagination. Inspired by Vietnamese craftsmanship, this limited edition eau de parfum blends tuberose, jasmine and orange blossom. On the bottle, the illustration is coloured cinnabar red, the characteristic colour of lacquer. The box, meanwhile, pays homage to the ancestral art of basketry. A sensory journey like no other.
