In 2001, Stella McCartney founds the eponymous couture house, and presents her first fashion show in Paris. As a result of her instant success, she opens her first store in New York the year after. Her futuristic collections display the young designer's lifestyle. Being a vegetarian and an activist for the well-being of animals, she revolutionizes the luxury fashion industry and proposes high quality synthetic material. No leather, no fur, only organic, recycled, and sustainable material such as organic cotton or bamboo fibres. The results are surprising and feature an impeccable finish. One by one, essential pieces such as her iconic Falabella bag, which are definitely arm candy all fashionistas want, become must-haves. Every season, she rethinks her sophisticated fashion by proposing new innovative cuts. In 2004, Stella McCartney collaborates with Adidas to offer her feminine and eco-friendly version of sneakers, such as the Ultra Boost or Crazy Train. Nowadays, her unique creations are still inspired by nature and its beauty.
